Chapter Four

Back in Tokyo, Michelle and Amara were walking together in a secluded park, pondering over the departure of Serena.     "Amara, do you think that we should go to Florida, just to be of assistance to Serena? Whoever this new enemy is, they might be a bit too powerful for her." Michelle said.
"I don't know. It's strange that this new enemy has set up a main attack force in Florida instead of Tokyo. I don't understand." replied Amara. The two fell into silence as they made their way towards Raye's temple.
At Raye's temple, they found Mina, Amy, and Artemis pondering over the same thing.
"Well, don't they have those Sailor Guardians in Florida? All they have to do is locate a Guardian to help fight the Negaverse." Amy reasoned. Artemis sighed.
"You may be right. Well, girls, we've got to come up with a decision. Are we going to try to go there or not?" Artemis asked.
"Well, I won't be able to - my mother is sending me to a boarding school in London." Mina said. The others gasped. Mina continued. "My mother told me last night. She said that it would be good for me - get to know about a different culture."
"But, Mina - you just came from London, didn't you?" asked Raye.
"Yes, but - " Mina was interrupted by two twin girls who had come up to the temple's entrance, where the girls had been chatting.
"Excuse me, but we're new here, and we don't know where our bus stop is." the ponytailed girl said. She had an English accent, and so did her identical twin, who wore her long brown hair down.
"What school do you go to?" asked Raye. Raye noticed that the girls wore the same uniform that Mina's old junior high school wore. "Oh, I recognize your uniforms. Your bus stop is right across the street, by that stop sign." Raye said.
"Thank you." the long haired twin said, and the girls walked off. Michelle stared after them.
"Those two sound like they come from England." Michelle pondered. Mina nodded.
"Yeah. I wonder where they're going...." Mina said. Amara looked at her.
"Don't they go to your school?" she asked. Mina flushed.
"I know what you're saying. You think I'm skipping!" Mina answered. "I'm not. My mother removed me from school. I leave for London next week. Besides, my old school is now a all grade private academy." she continued. Amara nodded with understanding. Just then, the school bus pulled up, and the twins boarded the bus. Amy stood up.
"As for me, I think I'll go on to school." Amy said. She and Mina attended a high school now. Mina's old junior high school had converted to an all grade private school, and had not changed the uniforms. The girls broke away; all heading for their high school.

Serena and Lita rushed into their seats in Mr. Adams's classroom three minutes past eight. Mr. Adams glared at them disapprovingly.
"You two shouldn't be late. Do you have a pass?" he barked at them. Serena stood up and meekly handed him the pass. He nodded in approval and Serena returned to her seat.
"Okay, now I'll take lunch orders." he announced. A few students walked to his podium to give him their orders. Then they said the pledges of allegiance and the daily prayer and then the bell rang, ending their homeroom. A few students left to other classes, but Serena and Lita stayed. Their next class was Bible studies with Mr. Adams. While Mr. Adams wrote the day's assignment on the chalkboard, Lita leaned over to Serena and said,
"Fiona's still a bulimic. I can't get her to stop. And this morning she slashed her wrist when David came to get his barbells." Serena shook her head.
"Curing bulimia takes time, Lita. You've gotta keep working on her. Trust me, if you're patient, you'll get results." Serena said.
"You're right, Serena. So, have you heard anything from the gang?" Lita asked.
"Nope. I wonder what they're doing. Hey, you can come to my house this afternoon. We've got everything unpacked." Serena said.
"Cool. I'll be there." Lita replied as Mr. Adams took prayer requests.

Queen Ziondra looked out at her Algebra I class through the eyes of Mary Lynn Johnson, a young woman who had begun teaching at Calvary two years ago. Ziondra was proud of her choice; now it gave her a better chance of gaining the energy she needed without getting caught by anyone. As she watched Lita and Serena burst in when the bell rang, she smiled evilly, making her first energy robbing plan.
Mrs. Johnson turned on the overhead and took attendance. Lita and Serena sat in the front row next to each other.
"Today we will begin our lesson on equations. Turn to page 31 in your books." she began. Serena and Lita opened their books. Mrs. Johnson continued. "Do problems 13-50. They are due tomorrow. I am leaving the classroom, and I will be right back." She then left the room.

Ziondra traveled through the school, thinking about the plan. Then she decided that it was too complicated. Plans are ridiculous. That's where Beryl failed. Too many plans. Well, plans are good, but her plans were too complicated. I'll just find some miserable human and rob him of his precious energy. She walked into the girls bathroom, where she saw a little girl wearing a pink, ruffly dress. She was washing her hands. Zionrda rushed forward and drained the girl of her energy.

Lita and Serena were sitting on Serena's new pink inflatable love seat, watching TV. The five o' clock news came on. The anchorwoman began the show with a disturbing story.
"A little girl was found dead today at her school, Calvary Christian Academy. The girl, whose name will be withheld, died of mysterious causes. She was found by another student approximately 3:45 PM, forty-five minutes after school was dismissed. Todd Smithson is in Fort Walton Beach with more details." she said. Serena and Lita sat up.
"Yes, Kelly, the young girl was found completely dehydrated -- all of her body water had been removed, and she looked like a dried up prune. The coroner is still trying to fugure out how it happened, but he suspects that someone did this to the girl. The girl had fingernail marks on her right arm, and a blue button was found at the scene of the crime. The young girl was wearing a pink and white dress at the time of her death. The FBI has been called onto the case. Todd Smithson for ABC, Fort Walton Beach, Florida."
    Serena shuddered.
"This happened at school." she said. Lita nodded. Then the phone rang. Serena walked over to pick it up.
"Mina? Hi! How are you? We're not too good. A little girl was killed at school. Drained of all her energy. Oh? You're going to London? How cool. We're all going to be scattered about the planet! Lita's here with me. Okay, I'll put her on." Serena handed the phone to Lita.
"Mina? Hi. Fiona's still bulimic, and a little girl was killed at school. London? Didn't you live there before going to Tokyo? Yeah. So you're going back. Cool. Maybe you'll see the Spice Girls or the royal family or something. Serena and I miss you tons. You met twins? They're from England? How weird, since you're going there and all. Well, talk to you later. Bye." Lita gave the phone to Serena and she said her final farewell to Mina and they hung up.

"Fiona? Are you all right?" Lita asked. It was 9:35 PM when Lita came home, to find Fiona unconcious on the kitchen floor. Lita sighed and dragged Fiona to her bedroom. Lita smelled her breath. It was a mixture of vomit and alcohol. I better let her sleep. She's probably had a long day. Lita thought. She went up to her bedroom and started on her homework. While Lita worked on her homework, Fiona was resting on her bed. Mrs. Johnson was outside her window, sitting on a tree branch. This is perfect. All the energy she puts into hurting herself and gaining sympathy from others could work to my advantage.
"Come, little spirit -- invade the lady and make her into my slave!" Mrs. Johnson said. A small light formed in her hands and floated into the window and into Fiona's body. "On a significant day in her life, this little spirit will awaken and carry out my plans. Patience is a virtue indeed!" Mrs. Johnson said. She laughed and disappeared into the night air.

Mina Monroe boarded her plane for London. The flight was long, and several hours later, Mina was at St. Mary's Boarding School, standing in the hall, preparing for the orientation meeting. She stepped into the chapel hall and found a pew in the back. A red haired woman standing at the podium on stage was discussing school rules and such. Then, the staff handed out the pre-ordered uniforms. Their next set of instructions was to get their dorm room numbers, their dorm keys, books and schedules. Mina did all this and found herself in her dorm room an hour later.
Everything seemed different to her.  Immediately Mina felt homesick.  She sat down at her desk, took out a pen and some stationary, and began a letter.

    Dear Serena,

I just arrived at my dorm room.  It's quite small.  The students and staff are very nice, but I still miss you and the girls so much.  I wish I could be with you guys, laughing and joking about boys and stuff.
I haven't made any new friends yet.  I'm sure I'll meet some other students tomorrow, when classes start.
So, tell me about Florida?  How is Lita doing with her foster family?  How's Sammy and your parents?  Tell them I said hi.
I'm sitting here thinking about the times I was Sailovenus, and all the strange experiences we've had.  Now it seems as if it's back to being Sailor V.  But you know, I'm going to continue being Sailorvenus.  I wish sailor teleport would work with just one of us.  Then we can see each other frequently.
I'll send you a letter ever

Mina stopped writing.  She heard a faint sound at the window on her right, the one that overlooked the back lawn of the campus.  She looked at the window, stared at it for a while.  Then she returned to her writing.  She was almost finished when she heard the faint sound again.  It sounded like tapping.  She put her pen down, walked over to the window and peered out of it.  She looked down at the lawn and stared at the group of students cluttered at the iron fence.  Curious, she walked over to her chair, pulled her cardigan over her shoulders and went outside to investigate the scene.

The remaining scouts were standing outside Hikawa Jinja discussing a vision Raye had.
"I don't know who the person in my vision was, but the person comes in contact with Serena and Lita every day," she said.     "Wait--start from the beginning," Trista said.
"Okay.  The first person I saw was a young woman with long, light brown, curly hair.  She had a round face and blue eyes.  Then her face morphed into the face of a dark skinned woman with white hair.  She had white eyes--no pupils or irises at all, just plain white.  I think this weird woman is Ziondra, and the young woman might be posessed by Ziondra."  Raye replied.
"Strange. We'd better call Serena and Lita and tell them about the vision, and to keep an eye out for this person," Amara said.
"I'll e-mail both of them and tell them about the vision. I'd like to get there and help them, since the enemy is over there, but we can't. I will go on the computer and find a way to teleport the remainder of us to Florida," Amy said. The other girls agreed and parted, thinking about this large problem.

Lita and Serena were walking around in the gymnasium the next day, chatting about the Bible verse they were to learn.

"Lita, I just don't understand. Why do they force us to memorize these verses? I've forgotten all the others, you know.
