Chapter One

Sunday morning. Serena was asleep in her bed, dreaming of Darian--again. Yawning loudly, she turned over and draped her arm over Luna, who was lying at her side. The poor cat squealed in pain.
"Serena! Can't you keep your arms to yourself? I'm trying to sleep!" Luna cried. Serena sat up. "What?" she asked, looking from side to side. "Serena, I think it's time to get up." Luna said.
"But Lunaaaaa, it's Sunday morning. Can't I sleep in for just a little bit?" wailed Serena. "No, it's time for you to get up. Remember that meeting Raye and the girls were talking about?" Luna said.
"Oh, yeah. Okay, I'm getting up," Serena got up, dressed, and started to head out the door when she heard her mother's voice, which was coming from the kitchen.
"Serena, dear, where are you going?" she asked. Serena walked into the kitchen and said, "I'm going over to Raye's."
"Well, Serena, don't forget your breakfast," her mother said. "Oh, yeah!" Serena said. She grabbed some toast and rushed out the door, bidding her mother goodbye, and with Luna hot on her heels.
A few minutes later Serena arrived at Raye's temple out of breath. The rest of the girls--Raye, Amy, Lita, and Mina--were assembled on the front porch, chatting. Artemis was sitting at Mina's side.
"You're here! Finally!" Raye said, sneering at Serena. "Excuse me for wanting to sleep in on my Sunday morning!" Serena shot back. "So, what's the meeting for?" she asked, turning to Mina.
"Raye here has really good news. Go ahead, tell her," Mina said excitedly. Raye cleared her throat. "Okay, so last week there was this contest at the department store for a hundred thousand dollars, right?" she began. The girls nodded. Raye continued. "I entered it and I won--a hundred thousand dollars in cash. Isn't that fantastic?"
"Oh my goodness, Raye, what are you going to do with all that money?!" asked Amy. "Well, some of it will go to my college savings. I already have a bundle saved up for college, so much of the prize money will not be needed. But I had this fantastic idea. Since we've finally defeated the Negamoon family, I've decided to treat the five of us to a fantastic round-trip to the location of our choosing!"
"Raye, that's totally cool! I say we go to India," Lita exclaimed. "No, I want to go to Germany," Amy said. Mina looked at them and said, "Let's flip a coin for it." Serena shook her head. "No, why don't we go to a place where we don't have to learn another language--like Australia, New Zealand, or England?"
"Serena, let me tell you something. The people of those respective countries speak English slightly differently than we do." Mina said. Serena frowned. "Like what?" Raye grinned wickedly.
"Like, say cookies in England are called biscuits," Raye said. Serena turned to her. "Like, cool!" she squealed. "I think it would be nice to go to Australia or England. What to you guys think?" Amy mused.
"I'd like to go to Australia, I mean, since it's summer and all." Lita said. Amy shook her head. "In Australia, seasons are the opposite, since Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere. They're probably about to go into winter right about now." she corrected. Lita's face fell. "Oh. Well, is England hot then?" she asked.
"I don't think so. Why don't we flip a coin for it?" Amy replied. Serena dug out a coin. "Alright, Raye, where do you want to go?" she asked. "I want to go to Australia." replied Raye. "Okay then, it's your call. Heads or tails?" Serena said. "Um, tails." answered Raye. "Okay then, heads we go to England, tails, we go down south to Australia." Serena announced. She then flipped the coin high into the air.
It landed in between Raye and Serena. The five girls and the two cats peered down at it. It was heads. Raye and Lita sighed. "Oh, well, it'll be nice to get away for a while," Raye lamented. Mina looked at Raye. "Cheer up, Raye--it's not like England is Alaska or anything--we'll still get some sun," she said. Raye straightened up.
"You're right. Let's stop moping around and make arrangements. We need to tell our parents and get permission, and then we need to pack..." Raye and the girls went inside the temple, chatting about the trip.

It's been two weeks since then. Now it was July, and the beginning of summer. All five girls' parents had agreed to let them go--alone. Naturally, the girls were ecstatic about it. Luckily, Mina's parents had friends in England, so the girls had somewhere to stay. Right now the girls were in Raye's bedroom, with their luggage surrounding them. The next morning they were due to leave for the airport.
"Whew. Our vacation is about to begin. Aren't you guys excited?" Serena looked around the room, gazing at her four friends. Amy was sitting on her futon, reading a book on English culture, Lita and Mina were gazing at a teenybopper magazine, drooling at the pictures of boys, and Raye was looking at her horoscope. Serena, realizing that they were too busy to give her an answer, grabbed a package of cookies and sat next to Mina and Lita, who were gushing over the members of some Irish boyband.
"Wow, Mina, that one looks like my old boyfriend." Lita sighed. Mina turned the page. "Gee, I wonder if we'll meet any cute guys there." she said dreamily. Serena thought about that, then her lit up. "Lucky for me, Darian is studying over there--so I'll have a boyfriend to go sightseeing with." she said gleefully. Lita and Mina sighed sadly. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find boyfriends." Serena said comfortingly.

Meanwhile, in England, the new enemy was preparing for their first attack. The new enemy was an elite group of cross dressing aristocrats. They were a glamorous bunch, and the group wasn't limited to men--the were plenty of gaudy-looking high class women as well. They were all highly respected members of high class society. Tonight was a special night, for they were to induct new members into their society.
The head of the society was a tall, dark haired man who loved to dress as a woman. He called himself the very un-original name of Princess Candy Floss. Princess Candy Floss was wearing a bright fuscia colored gown, three-inch stiletto heels. He was accompanied by a very wealthy and high-ranking (in the aristocracy) woman who didn't really have a name. For identifying, we'll call her the Horse Lady cos, well, she looked like a horse. Horse Lady was wearing a truly gaudy sky blue dress with little sparkles on it. Even though she was really thin, the dress made her look kinda fat. Her hair was piled high on her head in some sort of bizarre poofy looking hairstyle.
"All right, ladies and gentlemen, the meeting shall commence..." Candy Floss looked at his pink Barbie watch. "Now. Calamity Jane, are you writing this down?" Candy Floss turned to his secretary, Calamity Jane. She wasn't an aristocrat at all--in fact, she was Canadian. The only Canadian. She had blonde hair and green eyes. She was wearing a cowgirl suit and spoke with a really bad sounding Texas accent. She nodded her head. Candy Floss continued. "We need to come up with a name for our little society. So, does anybody have any ideas?" he began. Silence. He sighed and said, "Right then. Let's postpone that for a bit and concentrate on our new members. Three young men and one young lady. Stand up." he continued.
The new members stood up. They were all dressed as Power Rangers. Candy Floss looked at the young lady, who was (obviously) the Pink Ranger. "Dahling, I love that color. Do tell us your names." Candy Floss said. The Pink Ranger giggled.
"Well, I'm the Pink Ranger. That's my alias. The Red Ranger is my bro--I mean, my er, friend. So are the Blue Ranger and the Black Ranger. Erm, right." Pink Ranger turned to the Red Ranger. "What do we do now?" The Red Ranger shrugged. Candy Floss cleared his throat.
"As you all are aware, our real identities are top secret. I'm sure the Power Rangers are a collective, right?" he asked. Red Ranger stared at him. "Sir, what do you mean by that?" Red Ranger asked. "Well, you four seem to know your real identities. We have no problem with that, right Horse Lady?" Candy Floss replied. Horse Lady glared. "Stop calling me that god-awful name!" she snarled. Candy Floss rolled his eyes. "Well, you haven't come up with a name of your own, now have you?" Horse Lady just sat there, fuming silently. "I thought so." Candy Floss turned to the Rangers. "Any questions, comments?"
"Yes. What is the purpose of this society?" the Blue Ranger asked. Candy Floss beamed. "Ooh, I'm so glad you asked. The purpose of this society is this. We use our special powers to steal money from the commoners," he replied.
Horse Lady snorted. "You are completely clueless, Candy Fluff--is that what you call yourself? Anyway, to answer the Blue Ranger's question, we've changed our society's purpose. Much thanks to my generous donation to the treasury, we've acquired enough money to buy off this sacred chalice." The horsey-looking woman showed them a cup with wings on it (note--this is the Holy Grail seen in Sailormoon S, SS, and Stars. Horse Lady managed to get it and the talismans before the Scouts got it). "With this, we will be able to take over the world. Once we take over the world, we will no longer have to be proper and demure--we can do as we please without anyone getting in our way. This sacred cup will give each member unlimited amounts of power. And tonight we will distribute the power evenly among each member." Horse Lady finished her sentence with a dry, silent laugh.
Candy Floss glared at her. "Well said, Horse Lady. And the name's Candy Floss, not Candy Fluff. That'll be Princess Candy Floss to you, my good lady," Candy Floss said. "Well, with all that out of the way, let's begin the ceremony. Red Ranger, since you're the eldest of the new members, you may come forth and receive the power of the Holy Chalice." The Red Ranger stepped up to the pink-swirled altar. Tori Amos's "Raspberry Swirl" was playing in the background as Candy Floss poured pink liquid light over the Red Ranger. He proceeded to do the same with each member of the society as the night dragged on.

It was morning when the Scouts woke up. The girls rushed about, getting dressed, packing a few final items, and cramming their breakfasts in their mouths. When they were finished, they picked up their luggage and went out to the bus that would take them to the airport. As they were leaving, Chad and Grandpa waved goodbye, wishing that they were going along on the trip. The bus ride was short. The girls arrived at the airport in about twenty minutes.
The girls got off the bus and headed into the airport. "Okay, we're to board at Gate 13, which is for international flights. The gate should be this way," Amy said, pointing to her right. Gate 1 was down the hallway--a long ways away. The girls clutched their bags and headed down the hallway, passing shops (while Serena wailed about food), rental car booths, luggage claim, and such. Then the walked pass the gates until arriving to Gate 13.
"Okay, you guys stay here. Mina, Lita, and I will take the luggage to the place where we drop them off. The airline will put them in the cargo area of the plane. You guys keep your carryons and Luna and Artemis," Amy instructed. Serena and Raye looked at eachother sadly, and then nodded their heads. Mina, Lita, and Amy took the three huge suitcases and went down the hallway again. Fifteen minutes later they came back and checked in. Then (finally) they boarded the plane.
The plane ride was quite long. It consisted of Lita and Mina sleeping, Amy reading a biology book, and Serena and Raye bickering. Luna and Artemis (who were stuck in a pet carrier) just sat there, looking at the bickering Serena and Raye, and felt completely embarassed. After a few hours the plane finally landed at Heathrow. The girls got off the plane, picked up their luggage, and met Mina's parents friends at the airport entrance.
"Mina! It is good to see you again," said the man. His name was John Doe, and his wife was Jane. They were both high school teachers. Mina put her hand forth, and Mr. Doe shook it awkwardly. "It's nice to see you too, Mr. Doe." Mrs. Doe looked at the girls and remarked, "You girls look tired. Let's get you to the house." The girls got into the Doe family van while Mr. Doe loaded the luggage into the back (as well as the cats) and they sped off to the country or somewhere. The Sailor Scouts adventure was about to begin...

Serena: Wow, Luna, what an episode! First, Raye wins a ton of money in a contest, and then we're off to England! Wow, like, kewl!
Luna: Nix the "kewl" business, please.
Serena: Right. Now, as you all know, there was a reference to cross dressing men in today's episode. Now, we're not saying that all British men are cross dressers.
Luna: And we're not saying that cross dressers are bad.
Serena: Or that all British women are horsey-looking. Or anything else you found offenisve. We're her to say that you ought to be who you want to be! If you want to be like Princess Candy Floss, then go for it! Why is Princess Candy Floss a villain, Luna? It's not like he's gonna do anything anyway--well, not with a name like that!
Luna: Looks can be deceiving.
Serena: Well, yeah. Anyways, be who you wanna be! Sailor Moon Says! Teehee!
Raye: Did you notice that we didnt' transform in this episode?
Serena: Hello Raye! Sailor Moon Says the segment is over!
Raye: Oh whatever.
